The company Animalbox offers many different services on its site purrfect-box.co.uk. These services are carried out under the name “Purrfectbox” and are operated by purrfect-box.co.uk, which is a brand offered by the company Animalbox SAS. The site “purrfect-box.co.uk” is open to all users of the Internet, assuming that users accept these terms & conditions.
By accessing or using any part of the site, you accept, without limitation or qualification, these terms. If you do not agree with all of the Terms set forth below, you may not use any portion of the site. Price information found on this site is subject to change without notice. Animalbox reserves the right to change these terms & conditions of use at any time without notice, but will not change these terms in relation to orders which have been placed and acknowledged by Animalbox before the change is made. You are encouraged to review these Terms each time you use the Site because your use of the Site after any changes are made to these Terms will constitute your acceptance of the changes.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive, license to access and use the Site. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and without notice to you, to revise the products and services available on the Site and to change, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Site and we will not be liable to you or to any third party for doing so. We may also impose rules for and limits on use of the Site or restrict your access to part, or all, of the Site without notice or penalty. Your continued use of the Site will constitute your acceptance of any such changes.
Every order on the site purrfect-box.co.uk assumes the customer’s acceptance of these terms. These terms & conditions correspond with French law.

Users of our website declare to be adults and fully capable when placing orders.
4. ZONES OF OPERATION
The products and services of Purrfectbox are available to customers located in the United Kingdom only. This excludes the offshore islands and the Channel Islands.
For logistical reasons, any request for subscriptions to be delivered outside of these geographical locations will not be taken into account.
Animalbox also offers other brands that operate their products and services in metropolitan France, Corsica, Monaco and Belgium, operating in French. For more information, you can visit www.woufbox.com for dogs and www.miaoubox.com for cats.
5. AVAILABILITY OF SERVICES AND DISCLAIMERS
The services of our sites Animalbox are accessible by the customer 24/7 throughout the year except in cases of voluntary or involuntary interruptions, regardless of the cause. It may be down in particular for maintenance. Animalbox is not responsible if you cannot access the Site properly or at all because your ISP connection, the Internet generally, or your browser software is inadequate or functioning badly, or if your ISP suspends or terminates their service to you, or because of any other event outside Animalbox's control. If you cannot access the Site properly or at all because any of these reasons, Animalbox will not refund any money you have paid or compensate you.
Making the Site enjoyable means Animalbox needs to fix bugs, install updates and do general diagnosis and maintenance of the Site. Animalbox will try to do scheduled maintenance during what Animalbox anticipates will be relatively low levels of online use. Animalbox also needs to be able to do emergency maintenance and/or suspend access to the servers where, in Animalbox's reasonable discretion, Animalbox sees the need to do that. Animalbox will try to have the Site available again as soon as Animalbox thinks it is safe to do so.
Where the Site contains links to other websites and third party products or services, these links are provided for your information only. Animalbox is not responsible for the content of these websites or products or services.
6. SPECIFIC CONDITIONS OF THE MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION
This service provides customers with a box containing products for their pet each month in order to bring product discovery to the customer allowing them to test new products that they may not have necessarily tried before.
The planned agreement as stated in these terms & conditions includes sending a box per calendar month, so a box for the month of January, a box for February, etc.
Animalbox reserves the right to suspend the box being sent for a month. In this case, the customer will not be charged for the amount of the box.
When ordering, the customer will be required to complete a questionnaire. The customer shall ensure accuracy and compliance of information to Animalbox. Animalbox cannot be held responsible for the consequences of any data entry errors. The contract between the customer and Animalbox is not active until the customer receives an email stating the confirmation of payment from Animalbox.
The subscription to the monthly box can be done in two ways:
- The subscription plans which require upfront payment for 3 months, 6 months or 12 months.
- The no-commitment monthly subscription, with monthly payments.
a) The subscription plans which require upfront payment for 3 months, 6 months or 12 months:
By subscribing to this offer, the customer is subscribing to the monthly box delivery service for a period of 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, 3, 6 or 12 respectively, as of the date of the first box received.
The payment will be upfront for the complete total of the entire service for the specified period. The customer may unsubscribe from this offer before the end of the subscription period except for reasons stated in the article ‘unsubscribe’ of these terms & conditions.
b) The monthly subscription without commitment (with monthly payments)
By subscribing to this offer, the customer is subscribing to the monthly box delivery service continually until the one of the two parties decide to end the subscription.
The customer acknowledges that their subscription to this offer commits to a mandatory monthly payment taken on the 1st of each month in order to receive the box between the 20th and the 25th of the month.
The customer is free to terminate their subscription, without penalty, at any time as stated in the ‘unsubscribe’ article in these terms & conditions.
By completing their order, and checking the details of their order and, where appropriate, making changes, the customer accepts fully and without reserve to the entirety of these Conditions.
After confirming the details of their order, the customer definitively validates the payment. The order will be final only after completing the payment of the corresponding plan.
a) The subscription plans for 3 months, 6 months or 12 months require upfront payment, in totality.
The customer is unable to terminate their contract for their 3 month, 6 month, or 12 month subscription, except for the following reason:
Absence from the covered territory for a duration superior than 6 months, for example if the customer is due to be absent or move away from the covered territory i.e. Leaving the UK for an extended period of time, or moving to the Channel Islands. The customer must inform Animalbox of their decision to unsubscribe by sending a letter by recorded delivery addressed to Animalbox, 28 rue du Faubourg Poissonnière 75010 Paris, France and including a receipt that proves their subscription with us.
All cancellations of the 6 month subscription or the 12 month subscription will result in a refund being made by Animalbox within the thirty (30) days following the date of the letter being received, of the amount depending on the progress of the subscription. The amount will be calculated in the following way: The price of the subscription paid, multiplied by the number of boxes left to send from Purrfectbox divided by six (6) or twelve (12) depending on the subscription in question.
b) The no-commitment monthly subscription
The customer having subscribed to the monthly plan may end their subscription at any time in My Account > My Subscriptions > Stop Subscription.
No unsubscribe request will be taken into account by email. To unsubscribe the customer must simply click the ‘Stop Subscription’ button in their account (see FAQs on website for detailed instructions on how to unsubscribe).
The client will have until the end of the month to unsubscribe in order to ensure that they will not be charged between the 1st and the 5th of the following month and receive the box of the following month.
All boxes paid for by the customer will be automatically sent to them, and the subscription will expire after sending the last box for which the customer has been debited.
Animalbox can put an immediate end to a customer subscription as stated in the terms & conditions, and Animalbox will not be held responsible for any damages suffered by the customers.
There are two possibilities of delivery dates depending on when you set up your subscription:
- If the customer ordered on, or before, the 10th of the month, they are due to receive the box of that current month between the 20th and 25th of the month.
- If the customer ordered on, or after, the 11th of the month, they will receive the next month’s box between the 20th and 25th of the following month (they will not be debited until the 1st of the month following the reception of their first box).
After preparation of the box, the delivery of the boxes are entrusted with a third party independent courier who are in charge of the delivery to the address specified by the customer. In the case of delivery problems, Animalbox is at the customer’s disposition to create a liaison between the courier and the customer.
7. PRICES OF SERVICES AND PRODUCTS SOLD ON THE SITE
Sales prices for services and products on the Site are in shown in GBP – sterling pounds, with all taxes included.
The price of services and products can be modified at any time by Animalbox and any changes affecting a customer will be notified to the customer.
All prices include shipping costs regardless of the amount of the Customer’s order.
8. PRODUCT INFORMATION; LIMITATION ON QUANTITIES
Excluding any content which may be submitted by Members from time to time, we strive to ensure that the information on the Site is complete and reliable. Certain information may contain pricing errors, typographical errors and other errors or inaccuracies which we may correct without liability. We also reserve the right to limit quantities purchased by Members and to revise, suspend, or terminate an event or promotion at any time due to inventory, shortages, or user breach (including after an order has been submitted and/or acknowledged). We do not guarantee that all products described on our Site will be available.
All orders are payable in GBP – British Pounds.
Payments for orders are made via bank card payments.
The customer, by providing their bank card details, fully authorizes Animalbox to use the payment card for their order and legally give access to sufficient funds in order to cover the resulting costs for the order on Purrfect-box.co.uk, i.e. automatic monthly renewal for an active monthly subscription.
Animalbox cannot be held responsible for any fraudulent usage for the used payment method.
Animalbox reserves the right to suspend or cancel any order and/or delivery, no matter what its nature and level of execution in the case of non-payment of any amount due by the customer.
The delivery of any new orders may be suspended in the event of late payment of a previous order, notwithstanding the provisions hereof.
All payments will be processed through a secure data-encrypted procedure so that information transmitted by the customer cannot be intercepted by third parties.
It is down to the customer to save and print the confirmation of payment if they wish to keep these details of the transaction.
For the monthly subscription, the direct debit will be made on the 1st of every month. In the case of the 3, 6, and 12 month plans, a direct debit for the total sum of the renewal will be made on the 1st of the month after your plan has ended.
If the payment fails, several attempts will be made until the 15th of the month. The client will be informed via email of the eventual failure of the debit.
10. ORDERS AND CONTRACTS
Products and Box subscriptions may be ordered by clicking on the box or item you wish to purchase and then following the prompts that will appear on-screen. You may check and correct any input errors in your order up until the point at which you submit your order to us by clicking the "Subscribe" button on the checkout page.
Your order constitutes an offer to Animalbox to buy a box subscription or product. All orders are subject to acceptance by Animalbox. Animalbox is not obliged to accept your order and may in its discretion,
decline to accept any order. Where Animalbox accepts your order, it will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an email that confirms that the product has been dispatched.
By purchasing a month to month subscription, you acknowledge that your subscription has an initial and recurring payment feature and you accept responsibility for all recurring charges prior to cancellation. Your subscription will be automatically extended for successive monthly periods, at the original subscription rate. Your credit card will be charged on the 1st of every calendar. Any cancellations need to be done prior to 5pm of the last day of the previous month to prevent the charge for that month. To cancel your subscription at any time, you must logon to your account or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do it for you. If you cancel, you may use your subscription until the end of the then-current month. Animalbox may submit periodic charges (e.g., monthly) without further authorization from you, until you provide prior notice that you have terminated this authorization or wish to change your payment method.
For multiple month subscriptions (6-month and yearly subscriptions) your subscription will automatically renew after your then-current term expires. You may choose to opt out of auto-renewal at any time. Gift subscriptions do not automatically renew. If you cancel your multiple month subscription other than as a result of a material breach by Animalbox of these Terms, you will not be eligible for a prorated refund of any portion of the subscription fee paid for the then-current subscription period.
The above cancellation rights do not affect your right to cancel under the statutory cooling-off period (see Section 6 below).
Prices include VAT and delivery costs (where applicable), which will be added when you view the items in your shopping basket. Please see our FAQ for details of when delivery charges apply.
Your order will be fulfilled by the delivery date set out in the confirmatory email or, if no delivery date is specified, then within a reasonable time of the date of the order. You recognize, though, that occasionally because of problems sourcing stock from our suppliers or for other reasons beyond our control it is possible that orders may be delivered more than 30 days after the order.
Please be aware that we accept no liability for boxes that have been sent as a goodwill gesture - there will be no compensation in the circumstance where a free box encounters difficulties.
The Customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the box to exercise its right of retraction for which Animalbox will reimburse the Customer the full amount paid, including postage. The Customer must return the box with all products inside in perfect condition and in their protective packaging because of the food and hygiene products in the box. The costs of return are the responsibility of the Customer. The Client must return the box to Animalbox, 28 rue du Faubourg Poissonnière, 75010 Paris, France, at the latest, within 14 days of the information given to Animalbox to retract by mail or by the retraction form. We strongly advise the client to use delivery tracking, when returning the box. In case of loss of the parcel by the carrier, Animalbox will be able to repay only from the tracking number of the return. The Customer can send their statement expressing their will to retract by email to the address email@example.com, Animalbox will send an acknowledgment of the retraction to the Customer.
The Client may also send a registered letter with the following retraction form to the following address, Animalbox, 28 rue du Faubourg Poissonnière, 75010 Paris, France.

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All items displayed on purrfect-box.co.uk including but not exclusively the texts, comments, works, illustrations, photographs and trademarks are protected as intellectual property. Total or partial reproduction of material available on the site purrfect-box.co.uk is strictly prohibited.
12. REGISTRATION AND PASSWORDS
13. ACCOUNT DEACTIVATION
Failure by the customer to comply with these terms & conditions stated below, acts contrary to the interests of Animalbox, issuing false information when creating the account may result in the suspension of access to Animalbox’s services or even cancellation of their account and subscription based on the severity of the conduct in question, but the customer may not claim for damages or compensation of any kind to the company Animalbox.
Animalbox reserves the right to refuse any order from a customer with whom there is such dispute, even if they use a new/another account.

15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Animalbox excludes: (a) any responsibility for or liability arising out of any dealings you have with third parties that take place using or facilitated by the Site; and (b) any liability for losses which are not a foreseeable or likely consequence of your use of the Site, or of a breach of these Terms. For example, losses are foreseeable where they could be contemplated by you and Animalbox at the start of your membership.
Animalbox will not be liable to you over the entire period of your use of the Site for any loss in excess of (a) the total value of products or subscriptions ordered by you via the Site from time to time and (b) £250, whichever is the higher.
Notwithstanding this, nothing in these Terms will affect any liability we may have for: (a) death or personal injury arising from our negligence or our liability; (b) fraudulent misrepresentation; © for breach of any obligations implied by section 12 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979 or section 2 of the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 or (d) any other liability that cannot by law be excluded or limited.
16. PROPRIETARY RIGHTS
You acknowledge and agree that the content (other than content that may be submitted by Members), materials, text, images, videos, graphics, trademarks, logos, button icons, music, software and other elements available on the Site are the property of Animalbox or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and/or other proprietary rights and laws. You agree not to sell, license, rent, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, adapt, edit, modify or create derivative works from any content or materials on the Site. Animalbox and the Animalbox logo are registered trademarks of Animalbox, Inc. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners. All rights reserved. Except as expressly set forth in these Terms, no license is granted to you and no rights are conveyed by virtue of accessing or using the Site.
17. SUBMITTED CONTENT; COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT; NOTICE AND TAKE-DOWN PROCEDURES
By submitting or posting any materials or content on the Site, you grant Animalbox a perpetual, irrevocable, non-terminable, worldwide, royalty-free and non-exclusive license to use, copy, distribute, publicly display, modify, create derivative works on our websites and apps and in any other materials or medium, and sublicense such materials or any part of such materials. This means, for example, that we can continue to use and display that content even if you ask us to remove it or after your registration or subscription has ended. If you do not want to grant Animalbox the rights set out in this paragraph, please do not submit your content to us. You confirm that any materials you provide do not include anything (including, but not limited to, text, images, music or video) to which you do not have the full right to grant Animalbox the license specified above. You also confirm that any materials you provide will not contain libellous or otherwise unlawful, abusive or obscene material. Animalbox will be entitled to use any content submitted by you without incurring obligations of confidentiality, attribution or payment to you. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to waive all moral rights in any content that you post or send whilst using the Services, including the right to be identified as the author of such content.
Animalbox values your feedback. When writing your review, please consider the following guidelines:

We reserve the right not to post your review if it contains any of the following types of content or violates other guidelines:
• Obscenities, discriminatory language, or other language not suitable for a public forum

• Email addresses, URLs, phone numbers, physical addresses or other forms of contact information
• Critical or spiteful comments on other reviews posted on the page or their authors
Animalbox specifically prohibits the posting of any content that violates or infringes the copyright rights and/or other intellectual property rights (including rights of privacy and publicity) of any person or entity. If you believe that any material contained on this Site infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, you should notify us of your copyright infringement claim.
You agree to indemnify Animalbox and its group companies liabilities and the reasonable costs (including reasonable legal fees), sustained or incurred as a result of content posted to the Site by you being in violation of these Terms.
19. DATA PROTECTION ACT
The information and data collected by Animalbox regarding customer orders are necessary for the management of the orders and trade relations.
This data can be sent to companies that contribute to these relations such as those responsible for the execution of services and orders for their management, implementation, delivery and payment processing.
This information and collected data is also stored for security purposes in order to meet legal and regulatory obligations and also to allow Animalbox to improve and customize the services offered and address information.
In accordance with the Data Protection Act, the customer has a right to access and correct personal data concerning themselves. The Customer must write to firstname.lastname@example.org, stating their full name, email address and customer reference.
Depending on the choices made when creating or consulting their account, the Customer may receive offers from Animalbox and corporate partners as indicated when creating the account. Animalbox reserves the right to use the statistics provided through the questionnaires completed by the Customer in order to improve its service and that of the partner brands.
20. ADVERTISING ON THE SITE
At any time Animalbox may decide to place advertising on the website www.purrfect-box.co.uk. Animalbox has complete freedom when it comes to choosing these advertisements and also where they are placed on the site.
If one or more provisions of these Terms are held to be invalid or declared as such under any law, regulation or following a final decision of by any court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be ineffective but other provisions shall remain in full force and scope.
22. WAIVER; REMEDIES; VARIATIONS, ENTIRE AGREEMENT
The failure of Animalbox to partially or fully exercise any rights or the waiver of Animalbox of any breach of these Terms and Conditions by you shall not prevent a subsequent exercise of such right by Animalbox or be deemed a waiver by Animalbox of any subsequent breach by you of the same or any other term of these Terms. The rights and remedies of Animalbox under these Terms and any other applicable agreement between you and Animalbox shall be cumulative, and the exercise of any such right or remedy shall not limit Animalbox’s right to exercise any other right or remedy. These Terms may not be varied except with our express written consent. These Terms and any document expressly referred to in them represent the entire agreement between us in relation to the subject matter of your use of the Site and any order. We are required by law to advise you that contracts may be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.
23. ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OLD TRIAL BOX OFFER CONDITIONS
If you benefitted from our trial box offer, these were the conditions:
In the case of the trial box offer, the customer will automatically be entered into the monthly subscription following the reception of the trial box.
On April 20th the customer orders the trial box and pays the amount of £9.95.
The April boxes will have already been sent (boxes are dispatched on the 15th of the month to receive the box of the current month), so the customer would then be due to receive May’s box between the 20th and 25th of May.
During the wait period between the order being made and the box being delivered, no automatic payments will be taken. The only payment that will have been debited from the customer’s bank account is the £2.90 delivery charges.
Between placing the order and receiving the trial box no charges will be made. The customer would be due to receive the trial box between the 20th and 25th of May and thus experience our concept, by getting an idea of the products that we include in the box. However, in the case of late delivery (after the 25th of the month), it is necessary to notify Animalbox (Purrfectbox) of this circumstance in order for us to rectify this problem, and to ensure that we can arrange a solution for the automatic renewal payment that is due to be taken on the 1st of the month following the reception of the trial box.
In this example the customer would have between the 20th of May until the 30th May (the automatic renewal payment for the monthly subscription would be taken on the 1st of June) to decide freely whether to cancel, to continue the monthly subscription, or to switch to a different plan.
- If the customer decides to continue the subscription, no other actions are necessary – the monthly subscription will commence without interruption.
- If the customer decides to suspend their subscription, all they must do is log into their account and click ‘Stop Subscription’ (see article regarding cancelling subscription)
Restrictions and validity of this offer:
This offer is only available for people who have never had a subscription with us previously. This offer is personal, and can only be used once per person, per household and per card.
The trial box offer may not be used in conjunction with other promotions that Animalbox is offering: For example, one is not entitled to a free trial for both Pawsomebox and Purrfectbox.
If the customer does not respect these terms and conditions for this offer, Animalbox reserves the right to cancel and block the order in question. The order will be cancelled and the client will be reimbursed. The subscription will be terminated, and the client will be informed by e-mail.
The trial box offer is an offer that is strictly personal and may not be gifted.
In the circumstance that the customer wishes to gift a box, we invite them to look for other offers on our website, or to contact us directly at email@example.com in order for us to find the best possible solution that meets their needs.
If the customer doesn’t respect these terms specified for the trial box offer, Animalbox reserves the right to cancel and block the order in question. The order will be cancelled and the client will be reimbursed. The subscription will be terminated, and the client will be informed by e-mail.
